How did you celebrate New Year's Eve? I spent it looking at OHL rosters and clinching a trade with Lou Carollo.

Then I compiled a list of findings that I will now publish here for the league to look into.

    Detroit:
  • Maxime Ouellet appears to be not playing anywhere. An Unsigned status would be appropriate.
  • Mike Zigomanis and Mark Rycroft appear on IR but are healthy.

    Nashville:
  • Anders Eriksson is on the ZPHL roster as an Unsigned, moved from the OHL roster some time ago. He's not Unsigned anymore and he never cleared waivers. Put him back in the OHL where he belongs. He's NOT a ZPHL player.

    Anaheim:
  • Jean-Luc Grand-Pierre is on IR but not injured. When activated, should be given a Euro tag.
  • Tyler Spurgeon is no longer Unsigned.

    Dallas:
  • Manny Legace is no longer Unsigned.

    Phoenix:
  • Over roster limits in the OHL.

    San Jose:
  • Boyd Devereaux is no longer Unsigned. He's a Euro and should be moved to the ZPHL.
  • Rick Rypien is no longer injured. Remove from IR.

    Colorado:
  • Hella over OHL cap.

    Minnesota:
  • Grigori Panin is on IR but not injured.

    Vancouver:
  • Been about 4 million over ZPHL cap since Pisani cleared waivers in November 12th

    Montreal:
  • Fedor Tyutin on IR but healthy.

    Ottawa:
  • Patrick Marleau on IR but healthy.
  • Jocelyn Thibault has retired.
  • Under roster limits in the ZPHL.
  • Michael Nylander was made a Euro and shipped to the ZPHL despite not playing in Europe since 2004. Bring him back to the OHL where he belongs.

    New York Islanders:
  • Doug O'Brien is a Euro.
  • Mark Mowers is a Euro.

    New York Rangers:
  • Alexei Semenov is a Euro. Bring him to the ZPHL.
  • Kyle Quincey is on IR but healthy.

Can we keep injured players on IR if we don't want to activate them for cap-reasons? How does HO feel?

There are also a number of retired players who have yet to count against teams caps. Here's the list:

    Detroit: Rhett Warrener
    Nashville: Philippe Boucher, Teppo Numminen
San Jose: Mats Sundin, Brendan Shanahan, Mike Sillinger
    Calgary: Claude Lemieux
    Minnesota: Ben Eaves
    Montreal: Kevyn Adams
New York Rangers: Jason Smith, Marc Denis
    Pittsburgh: Theoren Fleury

I'm also noticing that injured players in the Sim are healing at double the normal rate. That is they get 2 CD-points back per day meaning a 2 week injury is a 1 week injury.

So on top of having pretty much NO injuries at all, our players also heal at twice the pace of any known medicine?

PLEASE adjust to normal healing rate and explain why we're running on double.

Finally, it seems to go into the right direction!

I have paid a lot to Krom for not mentioning the LA Kings!

Great job Krom, we need to see some stiffer fines or whatever enforced. If a team is over cap in the NHL they would get punished big time, it is a very unfair advantage!

NYI - Jarkko Immonen is in the DCHL but has NHL experience (sorry Lou)

Very much appreciated. HO has a list compiled, but there are a few things here that were not reported. The Strike Page will be updated within the next week, now that life has returned to normal for some of us.

I'd say the most disappointing thing about this OHL season is the lack of discipline HO levies out.

Teams are breaking all sorts of rules and nothing gets done about it. Thats sedin folks.

Maxime Ouellet is playing in some godforsaken Quebecois French League.

Whatever the LNAH is...

LNAH should be Krom's favorite league...it's mainly goons. There is like 12 fights per game.

I fixed everything for my roster.

Strikes from the simmer this evening to be added to the ones above ...

Blues - A strike for lines for not sending in new lines after his trades.

Thrashers - A strike for for not covering an injury in the Z.

Fedor Tyutin on IR but healthy.

Tyutin was put on IR for 1 game and then he was taken off and he played the very next game. The transactions below show that this was handled in the correct way.

Fedor Tyutin is suspended 1 game...Dustin Byfuglien will be called up to fill in for 1 game on an emergency basis.

Please re-activate Fedor Tyutin who has served his 1 game suspension. Emergency callup Dustin Byfuglien can return to the ZPHL.

Ah, sorry pal. Those Fins all look alike.

I googled Immonen because I was interested in him (the other one apparently), and google hadn't heard of yours until the bottom of the page, so I don't feel so bad making the mistake ;-)

Canucks Bob and Sens Marc, are you still with us?

I need new lines from you guys.

I had to sign a player for Bob to make lines for the farm.

Sens also does not have enough forwards.
